i rate movies using a strict pass/fail system based on how the cinematography compares to this one shot in monster house
there hasn’t been a single academy award nominated film with this level of innovative horror cinematography since 2007
this fact makes me sad,
why cant we have animated horror movies
Good question, why can’t we have actual animated horror films?
Animated horror films are fantastic in part because stylistic choices can add to the tone of the setting or even contrast with it. There are so many things you can do in animation that would just look stupid in live action. And finally, play on every idiot’s bias that cartoons are for kids and therefor can’t be scary.
Whoever said that cartoons can’t be scary has never seen coraline and that’s the tea
have you ever felt that tension with someone where out of nowhere you just want to grab them, kiss them and make them beg, make them ask for more. their eyes and body drive you nuts and you just want them and you’ll do anything to get them, touch them, hear them, own them and you know you just crave for them and its like your life depends on it and you will never get enough
I had no idea that chickens could?? float?? or swim??? I don’t know why I’ve never thought of chickens as buoyant. I never picture chickens anywhere near water. what else have I been missing
